Walking Bus
At Northfold Community Primary School we like to encourage our children to be active and lead a healthy lifestyle. One way to encourage this was by setting up a ‘Walking Bus’. The ‘Walking Bus’ is a safe and free way for your children to get to school on time and involves responsible adults who will collect and escort your children from designated ‘bus stops’. Parents are encouraged and welcome to accompany their children on the walking bus enabling you to join in the experience with your child. Although our route may not be the quickest for some children, it is a healthy, fun way to start the day. The Bus is operating on Wednesday and Friday mornings, whatever the weather. If you would like to join us, please collect an application form from the school office or speak to Mrs Spencer.
Here the children are accompanied by members of staff.
